These original boards were created and used by police during their investigations into the higher profile arson fires of the time. Although Hudson County claims that these investigations are still open, these boards are currently held in the collection of the Hoboken Historical Museum. The museum acquired the boards when learning that they were to be discarded. The condition of the board’s evidence that they were not considered precious items as footprints and coffee mug stains can be seen throughout.
